Shift-booking automation

FlexFindr

The build

Shift work has a speed problem: open shifts go to whoever happens to be looking at the listings at the right moment. FlexFindr removes that race — a worker connects their work credentials once, sets their preferences, and the app books matching shifts on their behalf.

Preferences are adjustable filters rather than a one-off setup, so only shifts that genuinely fit a worker's schedule get booked. Around the automation sit the practical parts of shift work: qualifications uploaded once for verification, and bookings, invoices and earnings tracked in one place.

The app is built with React Native and Expo on Firebase, with Firestore handling data, and is live on the App Store — with a Next.js marketing site alongside. Because it acts on a worker's behalf, the unglamorous parts got extra care — including in-app account deletion with data removed within 30 days.
